Jackie, O!

A couple of nights ago, T.J. asked “what do you think about Little Jackie’s ‘The Stoop?’” And I thought “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” So I fired up the Google, found the MySpace page, and enjoyed the buzz that comes when a song you didn’t know a minute ago now rules your entire world. The duo spins around the Lauryn Hill/Amy Winehouse axis, tossing off funky pop gems as casually as kicking off flip-flops. Resistance is futile.

Commence dancing now.

OK, to start, 9 times out of 10, songs that fall in this genre tend to bore me. But, after listening to "The Stoop" I defy anyone to listen to 'The Stoop' and not; a) Dance, b) Turn Up The Stereo, and/or; c) smile.

Great summertime track! This songs needs to be played on the car stereo, widows rolled down - and played loud.

Thanks for the heads up.
