I was drinking gin (a little goes a long way with me), and the pizza was topped with green pepper, red onion, and new red potatoes (the kids' pie had pepperoni). I used one of those pre-fab crusts, which are just so-so. I like to make my own crust when I have the time, but the dough takes a couple of hours. That's a saturday project.
You know, Trader Joe's crusts are okay, but I prefer to make my own too. Can send you a recipe that uses RapidRise Yeast which makes the whole process a little quicker--a good solution to Friday nights that combines crazy local radio, Sauvignon Blanc, clam pizza, followed by prodigious dj'ing at home [as for the best song to kick off the whole process--still considering, though I can recall some grand cooking and dancing to the New Rads' "You Get What You Give."]

So what were you drinking? And what kind of pizza? Inquiring minds...

where's the youtube video ???
If only there were a video, because there was dancing for the ages going on.
And lahuitrefrite, I'd gladly take the recipe and even post it here. It can be a recurring feature.
Next time, try Fairport Convention's "Tam Lin" - the gin and the pizza will be finished before the song!!!
